There's a construction site in the fenced in area to the east, with an exposed sewer access in an unfinished section that leads to the research facility

Map markers are for general locations, it’s not precise. The game mentions this somewhere. It’s a little frustrating at times, but you’re in the right area when they disappear

I figured that much, when the markers go away like that it usually means they’re somewhere underground in a sewer or subway or in a side shop that has an unlockable wall, but for this one I was going around in circles losing my mind trying to find it XD

you need to find the abandoned FBC base first, I think you can only get there once you have the "grapple" ability!

Okay yeah, there’s literally a building that says TESTING FACILITY READE on the other side of the wall!! The ONE place I neglected to look through!! Don’t mind me I’m an idiot!! 😅

They are always in the sewers so look for an pipe construction site opening

Its in the testing facility reade to your right on the map you probably havent unlocked the area yet its actually underground the facility

It's underground, go to the deserted area and enter the building, you'll find excavation site which leads there

research facilities are always in the sewers, the sewers entrance is always at a construction site.

its in the area on the right side of downtown with the purple marking around it, you need the ability that lets you pull yourself to those orbs on the sides of buildings. Once you’re in there, there’s a construction site with an opened pipe you can run through

It's on the right, just look about for the sewer that leads to every research facility.

underground facilities, unfortunately when its not main target it gets gone from mini map but available on your actual map, access it in the far right facility, the fenced one

You can only access it once you get to the construction site of the locked out area on the right side of Downtown

I was struggling with this. On your video map at around 0:40 you need to go to the block east of you. There's the pipe around there you can walk through and reach this later.

Yeah so what you wanna do is

you need to get to the right deserted area and then go underground. You will find it also as part of a later mission for Dr Underhill.

The construction site in the deserted area has a pipe to leads to it, similarly to the other ones.
