To address India's MSP issue, high water-consuming crops like paddy should be shifted to their natural regions like West Bengal and Bihar, allowing farmers there to benefit. Punjab and Haryana should focus on growing millets and less water-intensive crops to conserve resources

I've been telling this to so many of my friends, toh ek side se Modi bhakt bolte hai aur dusri side se congressi.

I see a few possible solutions and would love to hear inputs from those in the agriculture industry: 1️⃣ Market-Driven MSPs: Instead of blanket MSPs, the government should use MSP as a tool to lure farmers towards crops that align with market demand and strategic needs 2️⃣ Contract Farming: encourage direct partnerships between farmers and agribusinesses for better price security & supply chain 3️⃣ Targeted Subsidies: subsidies should be conditional, available only to farmers willing to grow crops that align with national priorities (eg., water-efficient crops, export-focused produce) Would love to hear thoughts from people in the field!

So let's reduce export of rice and increase export of steel, textiles, toys.

Same happened with soyabean as well, untill people realized their land is turning barren

So what is the solution

Govt. Knows this. But wish we had a PM with Balls like Trump.
