So... natural ingredients? Tomato paste Olive oil Water Spices Thats bad?

They’re actually adding in their own spices and making it somewhat in store. In reality little Caesar’s has fresher ingredients than most of the big pizza shops

This is shocking. I thought the sauce on my $5 pizza was made with hand picked San Marzano tomatoes flown in from Italy the same day I ordered.

Those videos have been out for over 5 years. It's a concentrated sauce. Nothing unusual about it

So it's a concentrate.. Wtf is the issue ? Another retard post on X

It’s a $5 pizza. Wtf did you think it was.

This is so retarded. First of all, it's tomato sauce, in a giant bag. No big deal. Then it's "tap water" and she says it as if we don't ALL LITERALLY DRINK TAP WATER. The "brown stuff" is just the spices that they add for flavor. Come on guys.

The brown paste looks like spices. We used to make sauce in a giant Hobart machine with giant cans of tomato sauce, & giant containers of spices, it looked pretty gross until it was all blended. I’m gonna guess most fast food eateries use a similar practice

I see tomato paste, water, and dry herbs. what's the problem here?

Most people would have a heart attack seeing what goes on in modern restaurant kitchens. They cook NOTHING... it all come prepackage to simply be heated and served... if it's a chain... this is how it is!

Pizza hut sauce is made like that too.

I worked at little ceasars and basically its tomate paste with seasonings "brown bag" and water. Dont care if the process looks weird, taste good

The only ones surprised by that are those that think food magically appears already made. 🤣

Little Caesars did not start out with $5 pizzas. Back in the day, their whole schtick was two pizzas. That’s where pizza pizza came from.

What an absolute zero of an outrage. OF COURSE there’s no one in the back of ANY pizza chain blanching and skinning fresh tomatoes and plucking and mincing leaves from their in-house herb greenhouse.

Bro's commentary is spot-on.

This is most chains. You get your food in a bag. Its normal at this point.

That Meaty Meaty be hitting tho… 🍕

Dollar Tree Pizza

Why is this disgusting? It's tomato sauce and seasonings...? Except it being in a huge bag, this is how you make it at home.

Gonna let you on a little industry secret.. turns out Five Guys doesn't have an abbatoire in the back.. they procure their meat elsewhere and prepare it for customers in the kitchen...shhhhhhh

People should learn how to make pizza at home. Its really easy. Takes about 3 hours start to finish. That's not you doing anything for those three hours. Its about 5 minutes to get the dough going. Most of the time is waiting for the dough to rise. You just need a bowl to mix and a little kitchen towel to cover the dough. Have a pizza stone which costs 20 dollars in the oven. Crank the oven up as high as it will go... let it sit at that temp until it gets as close to 500 F as you can. Dough goes out on parchment paper, on a tray, sauce, cheese, toppings... slide the parchment paper not the tray on to the ripping hot bread/pizza stone. About 10~12 minutes later you have a fresh pizza. Full cost is about 2 to 3 dollars and you get a premium pizza. Premium toppings. Vastly superior crust. Any kind of cheese or sauce you wanted. And if you want to do more than one pizza... you can typically have enough dough in one bowl for upwards of 4 pizzas.

"Leaked" like it was a secret 😆 Nah, just nobody else ever thought or was controversial, it's just their job.

This is how pmuch every pizza chain make sit sauce its not that crazy.

If you’re grossed out by this, please don’t look at Taco Bell food before it’s “heated”. Not cooked, heated.

Bigger question is, who the hell cares?! That shit is delicious

If that's what it takes to make the best pizza sauce in existence

@CommunityNotes

Reasons like that is why I don’t eat fast food.

Your mad they add spices? Little C's still fire in my book.
