When it's over, the account balance is given to the children for college should they care to use it. If not, it's returned to the parents by proportion of contribution.

Family court has been weaponized to incentivize women to turn babies into income generating opportunities- not children. The amounts issued for child support are INSANE. Most "child support" the kid doesn't even see it. The mom uses it to splurge on everything from tickets, cosmetics, going out to eat etc. Should dads take care of the kids after split? Absolutely 100% but the courts need to make sure these women aren't treating it like fun money.
