No one makes $49. There are import fees, tariffs, shipping costs, etc. that all add to the cost. The cost of rent, and utilities, and employee pay/insurance, etc. All of that cuts into the profit margins. No one makes $49 while the factory makes $1.

There are shipping costs, import costs, etc. The company selling it on the end is probably making $10 per stanley cup with most going to taxes, shipping, and export/import costs.
