Is cloud security better than on-premises, or just different?

Cloud is the biggest scam in IT. Cheating customers by charging them for every .exe spawned ,giving it a complicated name /service and dinging with terms you never understand when u are just buying memory and compute - a commodity!

You can airlock on-premises - you CAN NOT with cloud. I've used both on many levels. Cloud is much cheaper, but if you want a totally secure network it's a lot lot easier to secure on site. Both have their merits and it depends on your budget. On-Premises is a lot more labour intensive and SMBs simply won't or can't budget for it. Also depends on your data and what you are holding.

Cloud security is not a replacement for on site security. Both work hand in hand to maximize security and protect data from being breached or stolen.

Most companies asking this question already made the decision years ago. Now the real question is: Which setup fails more gracefully when humans make mistakes?
