The Earth is 4.54 billion years old. That part is extremely solid, measured through multiple independent methods using meteorites and the oldest rocks on the planet. Anatomically modern humans (Homo sapiens) showed up around 3-400,000 years ago in Africa. That’s also well-established from fossils found in Morocco, Ethiopia, and South Africa. So no, we’re not living in a 6,000-year-old world. The timeline isn’t “fake”, it’s actually incredibly well documented. What’s hard for some people to accept is the sheer scale of deep time. Our brains didn’t evolve to intuitively grasp hundreds of thousands or billions of years. So when someone says “everything’s a lie, the timeline was faked,” it feels easier to believe than accepting how long this planet has actually been spinning and how recently we showed up on it. The world does feel off, I get why these theories spread. But the answer isn’t that historians added a thousand fake years. That’s lunacy. The real mystery is deeper than that.

Since the great flood did indeed happen, you cannot measure the age of the earth using a method that measures the erosion of the earth without taking that into account. Makes no sense when almost every civilization has some sort of story about the great flood.

But we have seen evolution in our lifetime. Extinction and evolution has happened numerous times in recorded history 🤷‍♂️

Carbon 14 dating is only good to 50k to 60k years before you cant detect its presence. What's interesting is how diamonds have carbon 14 in it but are somehow take billions of years to make. My friend radiologically dated a sample from Mount St Hellins lava dome and it came back 1 million years old. He also got results from 1 million up to 10 million years dating 10 other recent volcanic eruptions.

The problem with a young earth and creation comes with accountability. If you believe evolution and an old earth then there is no higher power to really answer too other than self. With creation comes God, with God there is judgment. A being that has spoken a universe into existence has also taken an interest in what you have been doing with your time on earth.

You really don’t know what you’re talking about. It’s not the Bible teaches thousands of years versus evolution teaches billions of years. The Bible is silent about the age of the Earth. Young earth creationists interpret the Bible to mean that the Earth is young because of a misunderstanding of later passages in the Bible that they apply back to one instance of the creation account. There are numerous creation account passages in the Bible. I find it frustrating that so many people engaged in this never ending debate are so ignorant of what the other side is actually claiming. Before you promote your position, at least try to understand the opposing view. If for no other reason than to avoid wasting time arguing against a straw man.

People can call anything into question. Thats not proof of anything. Also, suddenly birthing a different species is not at all how evolution is claimed to work. We see genetic mutations all the time. This is so extremely embarrassing for you and you dont even know it.

I don’t believe the 6,000 year theory A lifetime is 100 years, if you’re lucky. That’s only 60 life’s, if you do 50 years, only 120 life’s. I think it’s super old.

Carbon dating's accuracy is based on the assumption that there has always been the same amount of Carbon 14 in the atmosphere which is just preposterous to call science and is an obvious tell to an agenda at play here. They carbon dated a living penguin and it was supposedly 20,000 years old. 😆 The entire enterprise of science is agenda driven and data scarce which is why it's full of theories. If you take the current population and divide the numbers correspondingly with the growth rate, it accurately goes back to around 5300 years ago to the time of Noah's flood. The Bible is correct. Jesus is the Truth. Follow Him. We have all been lied to about everything by a satanic oligarchy who tries telling us what to think.

Wow, your entire argument is ‘not everyone believes in carbon dating’ - they don’t need too because there’s broad scientific consensus that it’s accurate.

If you understand how carbon dating works you’d know it’s not perfect and something’s can specifically be dated incorrectly. We also have to account for certain changes in the atmosphere over time but yeah it’s not wildly off in all cases. That’s kind of absurd.
