Is Eloy the best Slipknot drummer? yes

Many long time Slipknot fans don’t want to admit it (I get it…I respect Joey as much as anyone) but Eloy is without question the best. He’s got it all…..the technique, the power and the precision. That’s very hard for a drummer to have all 3 at the level he does. Monster player

Sorry dude; I respectfully disagree with you. Is Eloy the “most technically skilled” drummer Slipknot has ever had? Maybe. Is he the best drummer FOR Slipknot? Never will be. Joey was; and always will be the greatest Slipknot drummer. Joey & Paul were Slipknot personified.

There is no Slipknot without Joey, skill level or not

Said it once, will say it again, and this is with all due respect to Eloy: Joey WAS Slipknot. The core of most of their early, best material’s foundations were written by Joey and Paul. Love Eloy, but post Paul/Joey Slipknot just isn’t on par.
