It's called welder's vision, we got it bad. Everywhere we look there are welds to critique

Failure in the heat affected zone of welds is bad because it indicates metallurgical problems and it's probably elsewhere on the ferry and every time it flexes more joints are threatened. Hope you showed this to someone.

They're aware of the problem too and have attempted to repair it, but not very well.

The structural integrity of this barge is the same as the structural integrity of America. We're still together but we're separating at the seams. If things are not addressed and corrected we're all sinking to the bottom Collectively....
