Calvinism misses this revelation given to the Apostle Paul… “…who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.” 1 Timothy 2:6 KJV God had foreknowledge of who would trust the gospel, but He did not hand select who would trust the gospel. Everyone can be saved, but not all will choose to trust Christ’s finished work on their behalf.

I’ve never read anything I’m Calvinism that says not everyone *can be* saved. Calvinism places a very high view on God’s sovereignty, and from what I understand, the doctrine holds that God can save anyone He chooses to save.

AMEN. The definition of sovereign means authority over all so there is no there is no contradiction. It is only when the gnostics changed the definition to theistic determinism does it become contradictory.
