I've came to the conclusion that I hold "islamic Scholars" in the same regard as somebody claiming to be a scholar of the Lord of the rings trilogy. The whole "I'm an academic/scholar/Ph.D., etc." shtick is getting really old. Your credentials mean NOTHING. You either know the information or not. I love it when a man with a high school diploma runs rings around the credentialed. It shows how weak those credentials are.
