Abreu doesn’t make that pick. I’ve seen enough of him at first.

Straight from google “He was taken in the eighth round of the MLB Draft out of high school and was projected to become one of the top first baseman in the game. Singleton was rated as the Astros' No. 1 prospect in 2012 and 2013, ahead of Carlos Correa, George Springer, Lance McCullers Jr., and other prominent Major Leaguers.” Sometimes it just takes ten years :)

He made some plays at first that Abreu can’t make, if Abreu would’ve been at 1st, Soto ends the game with a three run shot…Singleton’s Defense helped get the W today.

No. The one we always needed was Yuli, but Singleton is doing a good job.

In the midst of all the immense bullshit of the season thus far, his story has been my absolute favorite. He has played so free and amazingly well since he stopped splitting time.

Just hold your nose and pretend he's the one making the Abreu money
