Is it a sin to drink?

Jesus first miracle was to create A LOT of wine for a wedding party. Jesus commanded his followers to drink wine often in remembrance of him. Nothing he says is biblically accurate.

Jesus told Timothy to drink wine for his stomach problems Jesus drank wine often with his apostles even after the resurrection. The only thing the Bible says about school is stay away from strong drink and not to over due it so have a glass of wine is holy.

I have never consumed alcohol. However, this presents an example of taking God's Word out of context. We live in a world where deception spreads rapidly, often using scripture. It is crucial to follow up by reading the passages to verify the context in which each verse was written. Be cautious of charismatic individuals who have garnered a large following and manipulate scripture to support their beliefs. Satan is like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Teachers and ministers find themselves targeted, as Satan understands human behavior—if he exploits ego. As a result, many who trust the individual can be led astray. Pray for those entrusted with the responsibility of teaching God's Word, that they remain humble and don the whole armor of God for His glory.

1 Corinthians 6:12 (NIV): "I have the right to do anything," you say—but not everything is beneficial. "I have the right to do anything"—but I will not be mastered by anything.

The bible actually says we must not get drunk. Jesus literally turned water into wine multiple times. Wine is fine, just don't overdo it.

Drinking alcohol is NOT A SIN, getting drunk IS, the bible says do everything in moderation, I like his passion, but you can’t just cherry pick verses out of the bible to fit your opinion, @churchtalkative can you send us his name/podcast for context please?

It’s a sin to be a coward

Some like to push boundaries to the brink before it’s called a sin. We are NOT good stewards smoking or drinking of ourselves body soul & spirit. I do believe these can be vises used by satan as a tool to grip us in to other sins

So how does the “water into wine” miracle square with this?? 🤔
