The Bible warns against drunkenness. Not drinking. Just like it warns against laziness, not sleep.

Drunkenness is a sin definitely. I don't believe drinking alcohol is. There is definitely a point and everyone knows it within themselves when you should leave it be. I do believe once you lose control you're giving it to something else and everybody should stop long before that.

It's not a sin to have a (one) glass of wine. Overindulgence (gluttony) is a sin. How much alcohol is too much? More than 1 serving. This also puts the average person over the legal limit to drive and would be considered public intoxication. No drinks (zero) is sobriety and that is temperance which is a virtue we should all adopt for the sole reason that it's simply the right thing to do for ourselves.

It becomes sin, it's a choice, God hates alcohol, To turn water into wine doesn't mean there's 30 or 40% alcohol in it, that's one old excuse, or you can brag over how many bottles did you empty, friends and alcohol causes to much tears and pain, rather pick up your cross 🙏🩸🕊

God is not the the author of confusion. God does not affirm consuming a mood-altering medicine that poisons the bloodstream except for extreme end-of-life scenarios like morphine. Drink as often as you need morphine to tolerate existing.

For me it is a sin and I have never had a drink in my life. I think others need to choose for themselves though.
