This just isn't true. I was between jobs a few years ago with 1 child and I wasn't offered benefits anywhere near this.

Me and my wife, both paid taxes for 35years each, two kids, never claimed bemefits, durong covid, we got made redundant, was offered £1100 per month for 3 months... thats it,didnt cover the mortgage, told to go to the food bank!!!!

The max she can get is £2110.25 a month on Universal credit. Which is still outrageous but whatever.

I’m sure this has been topped up somewhat, due to unfortunate circumstances I am a single father of 2 and have been for the last 4 years, the “help” I receive from the government is significantly less that what the girl in the video is portraying, this is also the dream that is sold to migrants that want to come here and be paid for non contribution to our country
