It hasn't even been 2 seasons oh my lord can we relax?

Having watched this kid since he was 12.. having watched him in Jr.. world Jrs. He has nothing but pure greatness and superstar in him. You can't put a team this useless around him and expect miracles. Give him some with some finish..with the Regina Pats he had Tanner Howe.

Yes look at nazar vs him confidence wise. Fighting for his teammates. Driving to the net. Skating hard. Not saying connor isnt good. But him being so young do you think he hit the youngster wall. Last year he had 14 games off due to injury. So possibly just the wall hit.

Hockey has been his whole life with little else. He needs other things. Other friends. Perhaps a love interest or two. Too young to drive himself that hard.

Yeah Bedard is definitely in a huge slump

Bedard is a budding superstar on a team in an organization that doesn't know how to support his development. Yes, a seasoned NHL coach, top-talent teammates, and an experienced GM & front office would all help. The Blackhawks are mishandling Bedard's development.

More practice will unfortunately not change the facts of he is not a physical/strong player or a fast skater. He is easily shut down and invisible for long long stretches because he just can't impose will or separate.

He shouldn’t have been asked to carry a gutted roster at newly 18 for several years of a rebuild with no help both on and off the ice, immediately following 88 and 19. He was billed as those 2 combined and expected to fill their skates immediately. They asked way too much of him

Yeah it’s probably the end. Don’t really think he cares about the sport at all really.
