@MichaelVaughan Crap idea. One of Vaughan's cherished new narratives that will form on the heels of a 2 Div Test Championship, will be that some of those teams languishing in Div 2, like West Indies, like South Africa, will say "Cheerio" we'll just play ODIs and T20s.

@MichaelVaughan But what would happen if England and Australia were in different divisions. Would the Ashes, with all the money that brings into the game, really not take place until both countries were in the same division?

@MichaelVaughan Reduce the amount of noddy white ball cricket and free up the schedule for proper 5 test match series against every country.

@MichaelVaughan Can you imagine a 2 division test championship, if England or Austraila were in Division 2 and couldn't play the Ashes I could see that going down well lol
