If the dimensions make it such a park that hitters don't like signing here, why aren't elite pitchers lining up every year to sign here?

I'd love to see the defensive WAR of that wall

Absolutely not. The park has housed three world champions, Barry Bonds, and countless memories. A random game in July 2025 is certainly not the last straw because it didn’t go your way. It’s an absurd.

So, you change the park dimensions, and when the opposing team hits a home run that should’ve only been a double and the home run ties or takes the lead, now you want to change it again just to avoid losing like that? Leave the dimensions as they are. If we were up 2-1 and that same play happened to the Mets, we wouldn’t be complaining, because it would've stopped them from tying the game.

Absolutely not. Oracle’s been around 25 years. Teams have won titles, hitters have found success, legends have been made. Blaming the dimensions is loser talk. Control what you can—hit better. Don’t blame the bricks for your weak bats.

It’s already hard to hit in the park because of the wind from the ocean and the altitude. Add in that fucking wall and triples alley and it’s a sick place to hit

This isn’t a debate they have to bring the walls in. Like idk how any other giants fan can believe the dimensions are fine the way they are.

YES! Not just because of last evening but 20 years of seeing the same silliness of the park not giving up home runs to 1/3 of its area

I’ve always felt that every park should have the same dimensions …like it is in other sports. It would make stats more interesting instead of having the excuse of where the ballpark is.

Absolutely not. We have won 3 World Series here. The dimensions should not be a make or break for the team. Plus it makes our park unique. If it’s so bad for hitters why aren’t elite pitchers lining up to be signed here?

100%. The reason our offense is always ass is bc hitters have to fight through the marine layer and the dimensions. Why would we wanna stack so many thing against the hitters favors if we can help it?

The other team has to play in the same park. Stop asking stupid questions

I understand why people say no, but we have the best park and people don’t want to sign here. I thought adding the DH to the NL might help but it hasn’t. Every player should want to come here like other places so yes fix centerfield.

There are pros and cons. Probably best to move it just a few feet to make it fair for everyone.

Make it a bit smaller and better for hitters. We don’t attract the offensive talents bc their power doesn’t translate to our park. I’m all for it

What's the point in having a ball park that does nothing but punish your team 81 games a year. It's ridiculous and quite frankly the Giants not having someone hit 30 hrs in 21 years and 100rbis in 13 years is directly tied to these atrocious field demensions

Even this Dodger fan hopes this ballpark is never touched. One of the great things about baseball is not having every park play the same/have the same dimensions. This is part of Oracle’s character.

The worthless @SFGiants are about to get beat on back to back homeruns …but let’s blame the park ….idiots

Stop this stupid nonsense. The dimensions don’t affect whether we win or lose. It’s the roster. Sign players who can hit and run. Just stop.

Need to change the players! These excuses that the park’s dimensions are making the Giants lose? These excuses other teams they are playing are winning in Oracle. Just excuses!!
