Yes, for turning his back on his faith in Jesus, and the Salvation that he offers. It is free for the asking, but you have to make the choice. Salvation is one soul at a time.

Hell is the boogie man in the closet , the monster under the bed - only scary if you believe it’s real… we are all going right back to what we were for all time before our births. Blissful oblivion as far as anyone can tell. Might be a blessing, maybe immortality has its own equal drawbacks. Your belief in hell is childish and is a scare tactic. Fear over reason.

Such arrogance

All of the answers are incorrect, Judas did not betray Christ. Judas fulfilled the prophecy, Christ knew he was going to fulfill the prophecy because he is God, and Christ literally told Judas go do what needs to be done. Judas hung himself because he could not bear the cost.
