It was a scam and theft since the "Modern" age when gallery owners decided what would be considered "Art" and then their elite friends turned it into tax/money scams. Could even be called behind the worst most destructive war last century as a young man who'd have been an obscure artist all his life and loved it if born a generation earlier got pushed out of the schools and went into politics. Now the fake news doesn't talk about the scams, grift, tax avoision of 'high art' except to enshrine this industry based on theft and leeching off dead artists and gets the public screaming about AI... Oh, and in case you didn't get pic #1 Copied comic art just bigger - made millions while the original artists didn't get a penny and sympathetic judge ruled it was OK. That's why at a convention they'll draw "Spider-Man" for you for $ - direct 1 off is technically legal though when Disney whines there's "No Disney character" rules since it's just the law being unfair and bending to the most $ party.

Yeah. It's low effort and lacks imagination. Compare "Modern Art" to paintings by Van Gogh, Rembrandt, Monet, or even this AI generated picture of a Willow tree in the style of Van Gogh...
