Is One Piece overhyped? Was it worth the journey. Would I recommend it?

Kev gets it. It's great storytelling. I understand the baseball reference and idt he was trying to say OP is bad at the beginning, but to be clearer I'd say One Piece is that player who always had potential. He isn't the best at first, but you when he gets there it's DESERVED.

The length of OP and Oda’s story telling helps you truly understand the main AND side characters deeper than any other anime.

One Piece is quite long, but it puts all those chapters/episodes to good use.

One Piece is really like the MJ Bulls. That tough grind until over time they get on top and they stay there.
