There haven't been that many studies about the effects of long-term use of Marijuana and Paul McCartney isn't a doctor or a scientist.

He's an idiot! Marijuana is more harmful, as it acts in different ways, stays in your system for 30 days rather than 24 hrs or less (alcohol). McCartney is a moron.

He was correct, but the problem is modern cannabis is saturated with additional chemicals to increase its potency & due to market demand. Typical today's THC content is about 20% where in the 80s it was only 2-5%. Modern THC causes side effects such as paranoia & hallucinations.
