Is Polymarket scamming people? They use Chainlink for their price resolution and there's something weird happening every other 5m bet On the last second it jumps/dumps in price, meanwhile we can clearly see the correct price on Chainlink I even used Pyth Network to verify it Doesn't make sense... show more

Example #2 😅😂

same here

Hopefully they fix it soon or at least explain wtf is happening cuz I see it nonstop

You need to connect to Chainlink using their tokens to fetch real time information, their site lags by seconds

Pyth is the worst oracle i known. It's behind scene of Luna crash

I said they use Chainlink for feed price, and I cross-checked with pyth too

decentralized permisionless owned by community Pandora 🤝

It’s clear as day it’s manipulation. I was in on one and there’s like 5 second left. The BTC is down by $30. But price of up is still .60c and last second it jumped and up by $16

They are using private roc for faster data in chainlink website data is loading slow but in polymarket data is loading earl

cool but why the sudden change after the market is close? should be constant throughout the 5m I have like 20 examples so far, there must be an explanation

If you are thinking that they are manulapting then check binance chart and polymarket chart side by side ( choose area chart of btc ) then you will find out if they are manipulating or not why i saying this because binance chart and polymarket chart is working same time

This is all the more why we need a decentralised prediction market like Pandora, where AI oracles resolves everything @thisispandoraai

the timing on those candles is wild. u gotta predict the prediction market move now
Don’t have time to read all the answers you received, but : 1) yes it is manipulated. At the start it was quite amateurish, now they perfected it and the spike happens at the very last second. 2) the reason you don’t see it on the Chainlink site is because it’s lagging behind the "true" data. If you watch the x axe on your video at the end, you can see it’s showing 23:55, which must be your local time, and is 5 minutes away from the end of the 15 minutes.

Only prediction market I trust is @Kalshi

They aren't, the chainlink feed lags by ~30 secs from their UI vs their API. If you overlay the times, the prices will match. Source: we have access to the chainlink & poly price APIs within our terminal - they match.

This is the oracle problem that 5-minute prediction markets expose at scale. The resolution window creates a micro-arbitrage gap between when the oracle samples the price and when the market resolves — and that gap is exploitable. Cross-referencing Chainlink and Pyth is exactly the right approach. If the resolution price diverges from what multiple independent oracles report at the same timestamp, that's either a latency issue in the oracle feed or something more concerning. As prediction markets handle more volume on shorter timeframes, price oracle integrity becomes the single most critical infrastructure layer. The platforms that solve multi-source verification will earn trader trust ⚡

Ive been asking this in poly market discord with 0 answers Just vague responses. I call it manipulation and people think im stupid

corporate prediction market slop @thisispandoraai will fix dis

I’ve actually noticed this too over the last few days it has been getting worse. I’ve been primarily focused on the 15m markets though.

Yeaaa I lost a few big trades on this shit. I stopped using 5 minute markets. Shits rigged.

this would never happen on The logic PolyMarkets uses doesn't make much sense. @SOLPREDS_FUN is on Solana and secured by PYTH as well

They are using the new opening candle for settlement for the last windows that’s weird tho they shouldn’t do that, @Polymarket you need to fix this issue on the 5 minutes

They’re manipulating the last seconds

same problem lost $1250 🥲 @Polymarket @PolymarketTrade

Welcome to binary options , big binary options firms did this back in 2012+ (think bancdebinary ... ) (litterally hardcoded the last seconds manipulation into their platforms )

Thank god I only use Pandora for my degenerate parlays/bets. @thisispandoraai

Yes Chainlink calculates what to resolve on every 5 minutes in order maximize their profits. It’s an obvious scam and if you check comments, there’s hundreds of people complaining about it. Your bot is providing liquidity

Have seen so many times the price change after the markets close. Both in 5 min and 15 min markets. Its like moving the goalpost after the kick is taken.

I think the chainlink price is Whats used for resolution So it shouldn't matter?

from what I read before they are using the Binance API candle data. Some candles close after the UTC time is over. I ran into this problem when designing the @playbattlegrid games too.

@Polymarket is 100% scamming! I tried to contact support about my winnings but the account shows that I lost. Then the system offers me my winnings and then still doesn’t give it to me after I click claim. I know it might not be much for some but polymarket needs to fix this

@Polymarket care to address the cheating allegations ? There seem to be a lot of ppl in the comments saying the same thing

lets see what polymarket says

I have seen wierd behaviors too, while buying I check the price on Binance and most of the time dont match.

Maybe it's polymarket resolving the market where they make the most money

I said the same thing here, its crazy how @Polymarket is scamming people

<> i think this 5 min markets are managed by Jump Trading, recall they entered the polymarket books in a deal with Polymarket.

why would any serious trader/ Investor trust an unregulated "prediction market" gambling site?
