@UniofOxford @INETOxford He has no idea what he is talking about.

Solar power & wind isn't more affordable than coal. For whatever reason, the guy in the video doesn't take into account energy production vs cost & simply the reliability of energy production. Texas has the most abundant wind farms in the U.S. and there is now a thing called wind & solar drought. Solar & wind farms have to be offset by another energy source, nuclear or coal. So at this point your paying for both reliable & alternative energy sources. The alternative is reduce your energy consumption which leads to the cost of offset. At this point I would agree using no electricity is in fact cheaper than using electricity.

@UniofOxford @INETOxford He was great on Succession.

@UniofOxford @INETOxford OK, then use nuclear until your pet project is ready for primetime.

@UniofOxford @INETOxford …

@UniofOxford @INETOxford Will this guy compensate people if his assertions are wrong? Answer: of course not Never, ever trust people with no skin in the game.

@UniofOxford @INETOxford Nuclear power. If your net zero plans do not include nuclear power, you’re dumber than a bag of hammers.

@UniofOxford @INETOxford Who paid you for those lies?

@UniofOxford @INETOxford Oxford asking oxford, not really an unbiased source then. (not even looking at it)
