I agree with how he put it. For example, we all know the pope is a puppet of higher authorities. Imagine controlling the guy who controls the largest religion in the world.

There is no unity to be had if there is no underlying belief system.

DUMB. I believed this crap about religion when I was in high school and knew very little about the world, including human nature.

that's a sweeping generalization fallacy. "is religion mind control?" immediately presupposes that ALL religions are equal. i like a lot of what @davidicke has to say, but a lot of it is low IQ

@jakeshieldsajj Not entirely, It’s very subjective. It certainly can be mind control. That said, it’s the most powerful tool to use against a people group. It’s the most personal belief structure one has. You can deeply exploit that to into the psyche of people to manipulate them, no question.
