It's supposed to be semi obvious - hence the exaggerated sharp shoulders/shoulder pads. It was for an LGBTQ+ Pride event and drag performers often wear full bodysuits to create illusions, so I believe that was the reference. Like a camp wink/hat tip to that drag style.
