Is tanking in the NBA a problem or do you care? 🤔

There’s only 2 ways to go in the NBA: Be elite and seriously compete for a championship. Or be dog shit so you can compete for Wemby/Flagg. Anything in between is franchise suicide.

Relegation is such a great concept. I love that about Euro sports, it’s really incentivizes winning as much as possible, if you’re bottom 3, you go down a league and have less money, all of that.

How tf do you tank for a specific seed, do you win certain games and lose certain games?? If you can control when you win and lose then why not try to win every game?? The reason why tanking works is because bad teams aim to lose on purpose, if they tried to win they’d still lose

There should be a tournament for non playoffs teams for the first pick

So these guys think a 9 or 10 team would try to lose as opposed to going for 8th seed?

The problem with european sports is that it is always the same renowned clubs who are going to the championship finals. Since the Monaco Porto final had the lowest viewership in history, no smal clubs ever made to the top. That’s the bad side of eu sports in general imo
