looks like a rattelsnake. so, yes, venomous. but if you eat it you won't die. so no, not poisonous.

Rattlesnake, My Lab brings them to my GF all the time. Causes a ruckus when one of them turns out to be still alive.

Pituophis catenifer, aka the Gopher snake. They are non venomous, but often confused for rattles because they have similar colors and will shake their tail when threatened. This dick filmed his dog killing a very beneficial animal and dubbed it with the worst music created by any race ever to exist.
