You are too obsessed with new customers. I know, I know. Sacrilegious. But the more time I spend around large brands the more insane I think it is that they are excluding people who haven't bought from the brand in years from seeing ads. CUSTOMERS DON'T BELONG TO YOU. You aren't as SAAS business. They have no ongoing obligation to purchase. They must be sold over and over again. And your next most incremental ad impression is likely to one of those people you are currently excluding. Additionally, at some point the marginal acquisition of the next customer on your current offer is NOT PROFITABLE. I feel complicit in this problem we pushed aMER and cohort modeling etc. and it can still be very useful. But I think we have swung the pendulum too far and it is time to recalibrate.

American shares some major cost savings being done by DOGE that most people aren’t aware of It’s called overlap and rework jobs and it’s something Elon Musk is eliminating in Government. He explains: “When I worked at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel, we had something called rework. It was something we tried to avoid. We didn't like to overlap jobs. If you, and of course, if you did something, you were supposed to do it right the first time. And you didn't want somebody to have to come back and do it again. That's what another thing DOGE is doing They are looking all over the place for places where we're, there's a redundancy in governmental work where somebody's doing the same job as somebody else and they're doing it over and over and over again. They're getting rid of that too. So there's a lot of savings that are happening that we don't even know about. Doing something brave, and I’m still not quite sure if I’m ready. But life really is too short and hesitation would only keep getting the best of me the more I overthink it. Wrote this the day after Come Over came out on vinyl, and decided to make the most out of a rainy day a few days later. But ever since then, I’ve just been sitting on what to do with this piece of me. Because I want the guys to hear it, and how would it reach them if I didn’t share it? Why am I fighting myself to put it out there if this is the whole point? In the end, a dear friend told me to share it anyway. Not just for the guys, but also for all of you that are probably feeling the same ways and thinking similar thoughts. So here we are, and here’s an answer to “Come Over,” written by an army for bts and anyone it resonates with. If any of you are here, thank you for listening. We are not okay, and that’s okay to say. I wish I could tell you that we are standing here and that the rest of the world is standing with us. With you. Sadly I can’t say that. We are not okay, and that’s okay to say. I wish I could tell you that we are standing here and that the rest of the world is standing with us. With you. Sadly I can’t say that. There is a loud and aggressive minority around the world who doesn’t get, that being murdered at a peace festival does not equal resistance. I do however, know that we are standing here on behalf of all those people in the world, with moral clarity. And there are a lot of them. And there are many who want to be here with you. And they are here with you at heart. On October 7th, your loved ones went to Nova. We call it a peace music festival because that’s what it was—a place to make new friends, to let loos explore and celebrate life. And this juxtaposition hurts the most —because on that day, the light your loved ones were, was met with the most unimaginable darkness. Our lives will never be the same. But today, as we remember them, we also make a promise: to honor their memory by living as they would have. As we stand here in grief, we have a message to the world: we will not be defeated. Israel was attacked on October 7th and every day since, for the crime of existing. For the audacity of just being here. But we are here, and we are here to stay. Aaron Glenn goes back-and-forth with reporters about his reluctance to name the Jets' starting QB for next week: Q: "Doesn't it help the quarterback's confidence when the coach comes out and says, 'you're my guy'?" Glenn: "It helps the quarterback's confidence when the player and the coach talk and they know who the guy is. Not that I'm telling it to you guys. Here are my thoughts on Harrison Butker. Today there are people who are outraged over the comments made by Harrison Butker of the Kansas City Chiefs. Butker, as seen below, in giving a speech at Benedictine College, said “I want to speak directly to you briefly because I think it is you, the women, who have had the most diabolical lies told to you." He went on to say: “How many of you are sitting here now about to cross this stage and are thinking about all the promotions and titles you are going to get in your career? Some of you may go on to lead successful careers in the world, but I would venture to guess that the majority of you are most excited about your marriage and the children you will bring into this world.” There are people calling for the Chiefs and the NFL to blackball Butker from the league. I despise the ideas and words that Butker put out in the public realm. I think this mindset is an insult to women from all over the world. I think its misogynistic, and disrespectful. With this said, the same people who are outraged over Colin Kaepernick allegedly being blackballed from the league, are now calling for this man to be blackballed. He's wrong, but is that a crime? Should his life be ruined because he shared his thoughts at a Catholic college, where many of the students likely and unfortunately agree? I don't think so.
