The moment schools starts telling children and churches starts telling us that the Bible isn’t a story but an historical event the better for us all because many of us grew up knowing it as a story.

Depends which bible, and even then I'd double check everything. I'd say the five books of Torah only, and the 4 gospels are reliable. The best bibles I've found are Cepher and BYNV.
