Of course. The West has frequently used “ceasefires” as the tactical tools to rearm, regroup, exploit the adversaries and gain a long-term advantage, either militarily or diplomatically, especially when outright victory was unattainable! Ex:,WWI/2, Truces during Bosnia War, 90’s.
