Newsom also claimed that if actual analysis were done, the project would be killed. As Governor, Newsom has spent years selling the project to Californians by using the same lies that he once criticized. It appears that Newsom has known for over a decade how this project would turn out. Why did he continue to push this disaster on Californians? Weeks ago Newsom celebrated the project's success, even though no track has been installed. The current estimated completion time for the entire project is approximately 20 years from now.
