Is this a new meta? Stealing the boost from outside the circle 🧐🧐

this literally happened to me like yesterday and I actually scored because of it

This is the equivalent to getting your wall taken in fortnite because ur ping is higher than the other players

Its been known for a while now that the player the furthest away from the centre of the boost pad will get the boost pad first as long as they are on the boost.

I knew some shit was up with that

People say it’s been like this from the start, but I’ve only ever started experiencing it when Season 22 dropped with the new boost animation. Never had this occur so often in all my years of playing RL.

Only thing I can come up with is the last registered hitbox that touches the boost's is the one than takes it

The person furthest from the center of the boost gets priority. Also the person highest from the ground gets priority as well. Its been this way for years.

Kinda known fact also the player higher up in the air gets it first that’s why you see people jumping when racing to boost pads

This always happens to me I’m waiting on a boost and someone steps on it for one second and steals it

Had this happen to me in a game 2 days ago, and i was so confused because it was 10,000% my boost. Ended up conceding off of it, went back to replay and still had no answers

I knew it, happens a lot in ranked then I get scored on because of it.. then tm8 starts talking shit then it’s gg. Also with the bumps and demos something is wrong with that as well
