Votes in ACT elections, runs on NSW laws, governed by Canberra. And it’s not alone. Norfolk Island, Christmas Island, and the Cocos Islands have stripped or limited self-rule also - run under imported laws from NSW or WA. So it feels like a Mandela Effect… but it’s actually just deliberate omission by the system, not collective memory failure. The real trick? We don’t live in a federation.
