Cruise control is for speed, but if a rock hits that front wheel… 👀

Just lock throttle and position. Cruise control for motorcycles has been around since the 1970s.

I remember riding my BMW on the 210 Freeway and rolling over an extension ladder lying across the inside 3 lanes. Sure glad I had a firm grip on my handlebars. This guy? Like a walrus slapping the blacktop at 75 mph. Gooey.

Try holding a throttle open for a few thousand miles. Yes, thank God, yes they do. BTW this enormous hog rider is in both the front and back seat. The helmet seem a little superfluous.

Many touring motorcycles have an electronic cruise control. Older models have a mechanical “thumb screw” to lock the throttle in place. The mechanical version can be dangerous.

It's just like riding a bicycle without using your hands. They are surprising stable when in motion, but there is an element of risk.

It’s still a little crazy not to hold on - but some riders like to live on the edge…
