Even if the nails were to naturally arrange themselves that way, the demonstration would only prove that matter can order itself into repeating patterns - like the molecules in crystals - it wouldn't come close to explaining the specified complexity we see in DNA.

The shaking of the box does not require divinity. You see the person shaking the box as an analog for God, but it can be seen as the workings of physics and nature. The lesson here is that you are prone to seeing any natural action as the actions of God.

The thing is, their burden of proof isn’t just order. Order in physics doesn’t mean the metaphysical order we mean, like purpose, virtues, relations, identity, time, etc. The law of identity isn’t a thermodynamic state achieved by low entropy.
