With short memories and recency bias Jon has already tarnished his legacy. He will be remembered as duck before goat.

He knows Aspinall is dangerous on his feet AND on the ground, so he wants the Alex fight because he knows his ground game is not on his level. He is being smart and trying to defend his unbeaten record. But that being said Jon Jones might be the GOAT but he shouldn’t be allowed to pick and choose his fights and completely ignore the Interim Champion. That’s not how it works. He isn’t bigger than the heavyweight division or the sport of MMA. Either fight Aspinall and unify the belt or relinquish it and fight your legacy fights and retire.
