I 100% believe this to be true. I had a professor who told us about the time he went to see Neil Armstrong give a lecture about being an Astronaut, and his time at NASA in general. The Professor found it very weird that Neil talked about everything he did during his time as an Astronaut in great detail but leaving the moon landing for the last couple of minutes or so, barely mentioning it. It was baffling not just to the Professor but other people who paid to see him talk about it, or take up most of the lecture, not training - or test flights. During Q & A when audience members would ask about the moon landing he would answer with much shorter answers given than on other questions. He acted almost evasively. Ask him about anything else other than the moon landing and he would go on and on and explain everything very vividly. Our Professor came away feeling that it was as if Neil Armstrong felt embarrassed by the moon landing in some way. He also told us that he wasn't the only audience member to come away feeling weird about the whole lecture. Why would someone have those feelings, or act in this way, if everything was exactly how we were told?

I've heard similar accounts about Neil Armstrong. People say he would recount his experiences as an astronaut with remarkable detail, effortlessly recalling every moment. Yet, when questioned about the Moon Landing specifically, heโ€™d often brush it off, claiming he couldnโ€™t quite remember.

Total horseshit! Not only did we land on the moon he was expressionless like that because of what they found on the moon and he couldn't talk about it! It was no accident they landed where they landed. Previous photo expeditions to the moon clearly showed the remnants of a civilization perhaps even some activity that was current. So yes, here you are the most famous man on earth for being the first human on the moon and you get there and you find out that not only are you not the first but there's civilization that's already been there and are most likely gone. Now that's a fucking eye opener that would be extremely difficult to swallow.

Could be. Buzz Aldrin is a raging alcoholic and has said several times that we never went to the moon while inebriated.

Until this happens- Iโ€™m keeping open mind: From Grok: No spacecraft has passed close enough to the Moon to capture detailed images of the American flag or the Apollo landing sites with sufficient resolution to clearly identify them since the Apollo missions themselves. However, there have been missions that have photographed the lunar surface, including the Apollo landing sites, from a distance.

I recently found out that Neil A. backwards is Alien. I also found out that the word NASA in Hebrew means to deceiveโ€ฆ.
