Is this the worst play in baseball history?

Gotta love Frank Robinson coming out of the dugout to yell at his players, not the umpire.

Yet another situation where plate umpire Jim Joyce knew the rules and applied them perfectly. So many examples of why he was consistently voted the top umpire in MLB by the players. He'll always get a bad rap for the missed call in the Gallaraga perfect game but Joyce was great.

Lo mejor de la jugada es que sale Robinson y regaña a sus jugadores por no “estar en el juego”.

Isn’t this a force play? Bases loaded and they stop on home. What did I miss?

Genuinely asking because I don’t the answer..On an infield fly does the baserunner need to tag up back on the base before proceeding to the next base?

Especially bad for Bonds who should’ve been on second base had he run hard out of the box.

主審が右手を上げてインフィールドフライを宣告したのでは?

By the time you get to this level you should know the rules.

I remember this 😆

It looks like Pérez knew the rule but why did he try to get home with the ball right there?

Nah, I think the Baez rundown on a force play at 1st that cashed in a run is worse
