So true. Once while waiting for a boy band concert at a venue next door to a sports arena, groups of men walking past would mock us girls as they headed to the basketball game. Those men wore face paint and jerseys with other men's names, but we girls were the "weird" ones 🙄

I'm American. It's completely true. Men collect baseball cards, sportsvhats, jerseys, posters, & memorabilia...but somehow that's not cringe like the women who collect band & music merch?

It is even worse! Imagine a baritone voiced fangirly with a beard, funny hat and the jersey number of his bias - I mean favourite player painted on his beer gut paired with silly drunk chants and you have a footy fan. Round it up with flares and aggression & you have an ultra.
