Wow truly impressive. Not a single stock video of Texas in a video about Texas.

Everyone will agree that Austin isnt Texas anymore. South East, Far West and Central Texas are real Texans.

AI slop. The real test is to ask Texans what they think of other cities. Ask somebody from Dallas what they think of Houston ask somebody from San Antonio or really anywhere what they think of Austin. You'd be surprised.

He missed an ENTIRE part of the State lol. San Antonio has zero to do with what goes on down here. SoTx/RGV/Laredo are drastically different once you cross that part. Amazes me how many have m just flat never been that far down. Beautiful people/land/bays/Gulf and Food

No. If you ask any Texan, from anywhere in Texas, "What is Texas?" whatever answer they give you is the right one. We know this state is big. Big enough to have multiple cultures, and still be one Texas.

lol why whips anyone find this surprising. Look at the size of it. Lay out over Europe and imagine being surprised that San Antonio (northern Italy) is different than Paris, or Amsterdam, or Prague lol.

You also forgot border, cause just talking about an Antonio doesn’t make it south Texas. From Laredo to Brownsville and don’t forget starbase is there.

This is completely reductive. Any true Texan will tell you Texas is all these things. It’s just so large that there are different pockets but no Texan will generalize Texas as a whole based on where they live.

Somehow he managed to leave out Dallas/Ft.Worth.

Everybody leaves out the Piney Woods, the Valley, and Big Bend. The big cities are only part of it - arguably the worst part of it.

What this fails to talk out is all the open country between these cities. The cities are all different, but rural Texas has roughly the same mindset. Small government, personal liberty, protectors of the 2nd amendment, and leave us the hell alone. Rural Texas is where the Texas culture comes from and is preserved. As much as the cities try they aren’t what defines Texas.

Houston is a cess pool because it is a port city. Galveston, which is just like a bridge from Houston, was ranked 2nd to Ellis Island as a LEGAL immigrant entry point from all over the world in late 19th and early 20th century. Many of those groups settled and stayed around there. Others migrated up north on the Trinity river, which was navigable back then.

Not an actual video clip of the actual region he references. No mention of the Hill Country or the Deep South. Bet he’s never been here.

@CountryByrdman Pretty much. A few details are off. But it’s the reason we had this tourism slogan back in the 90s: “Texas is like a whole other country.”

AI schlock. Mismatched words & video when he speaks and many odd, incorrect images - “Compaña Falcon”? And a tower is not the Alamo & the red flag is Turkey!! Not Texas.

All Texans are under the same umbrella.... No matter which side of the state you live on. If I see a Texan outside of our state, bet your ass I'll buy them a drink. Unless they're from Austin, Austin isn't Texas.

Bro… you’re like factually incorrect… in all this… yes you’re explaining the different parts of Texas well. But no we never thought we were all the same gun hoe cowboy….. and we’re not divided in thoughts unless it comes to sports. Spurs vs rockets vs mavs. Cowboys vs Texans. Astros vs Rangers…. Same for college football. I would say Edinburg, McAllen, and Brownsville is way more Mexican city than San Antonio. Go down there and try a taco and tamales

Every word truth. I live in a rural community outside of Amarillo. Yesterday our high was 91 with winds from the west peaking at 56. This morning our low was 41, 25 mph wind from the north and wind chill 30. I love Texas and I'm having ribeye for dinner.

True? Kind of - Definately different cultures in each area but they blend more than the video implies. Each would acknowledge the others as part of the whole. Each area contributes something to make the state well rounded. All are fiercely 'Tejas' and that is what makes it great.

You left out the Rio Grande Valley. Just as different and unique as the other areas in Texas.
