Is this what octopus nightmares look like?

Dreaming about being trapped in a tank in a laboratory maybe.

Sooo... if octopi/octopuses can have nightmares... does that mean they also can have wet dreams...? Science, do your thing.

Being that octopus can reach speeds up to 25 MPH maybe it’s having a moment of traumatic stress and is acting out. Being unable to follow its instinct to swim must surely have some sort of effect.

Put him in a natural environment and you won’t see that behaviour 🤔 PVC pipe is toxic. Lights and video cameras would disturb my sleep so I imagine same with him.
