Is Tithing just for the Old Testament

NOPE!!! I’m Christian and first of all tithing is for the Law and for the Hebrew to give to the Levite. Hebrews 7:5 if you’re a gentile then you are neither lol It shouldn’t be preached upon if we are being biblical… what does the Bible say: “So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver.” II Corinthians 9:7 If it’s from your heart then give not tithe. We aren’t of the law. We are under Christ. So STOP PREACHING TO TITHE CHRISTIAN 🛑. The Bible tells you otherwise if you say otherwise. Dude preached on feelings. That’s the problem at the pulpit. It sounds nice to the ear but is it biblical?

Whoever is advocating for tithe today does not know the distinction between the Old testament and the new testament.

What i believe Tithing is, it’s giving to the needing. They are folks who pay Tithes in church, yet their colleagues are starving for days.

Tithing today is never anything about salvation!! Tithing won’t save you. Tithe is passed! Don’t tell me y’all following the instructions about tithe based on the scripture today!

Let’s not forget the kingdom of YAH is in our hearts. Yeshua did not like the churches and overturned the money tables. This is not biblical. You can tithe by feeding animals, giving to the homeless, being charitable. Enough with the tithing lectures.

I do not "tithe out of obedience". I give money/time/energy/love/effort/resources because I have it, and I can afford to give it when/where it's appropriate and beneficial. I'm appreciative of having abundance. I appreciate getting to be a part of abundance for others.

Shut up thieves. All those beautiful inspiring words aren’t based on the Bible. Everything he said can be achieved through generous and cheerful giving which is what God ask the church to do. Don’t ask more than God ask. Don’t add or remove from the bible

Tithing is definitely not to be done according to Deuteronomy but we are to give alms according to Tobit. So yea tithing is done because we are not carrying fruits and livestock but do give alms because it delivers you from death
