If Dampier stays healthy, then that over 8 games is easy money. Of course that's the big if ... Supposedly Beck's offense is a lot simpler for "new to the program" players (freshmen/transfers) to come in and operate, but I'll believe it when I see a backup play just ave at QB

You’re ignoring the trend. Kyle is wishing he retired already. He won’t have another winning season at Utah. Period. They can’t win if they don’t have a systemic unfair recruiting advantage in-state and they run at a deficit despite huge conference payouts for a decade. Terribly run program and the QB they brought in could only throw 12 TDs in the MWC. Even if he can step up his game to match that in the Big12 against better competition, there’s no way they win 8 games if he only throws 12 TDs. He runs like a 4.6 sec 40 yard dash, which was enough to outrun some of the slow edges and LBs in the MWC but he will get chased down all day by Big12 pass rushers.
