My attention has been drawn to a video circulating in which a man makes very serious allegations, specifically naming my name and office. He claims I put him under surveillance and also hacked him 24/7. He further claims that he reported the case to the Ghana Police Service at the time under the leadership of IGP Dampare. He alleges a cover-up by the Police. He further claims that to silence him, I ordered the assassination of his only brother. He says all of these happened in November 2023, a time when I was not a Minister for Communication as I am today and had no legal or official authority to place anyone under surveillance or cyber monitoring. These are grievous allegations with no basis or facts, and they impugn criminal action on my part. I have therefore lodged a formal complaint with the authorities and asked that the individual be invited to substantiate his claims in the interest of justice. For God and Country. 🦁🇬🇭

It's a moment for collective resolve to ensure justice for those who lost their lives and for their grieving families by bringing the perpetrators to justice. Among the list of victims were: Shri Manjunath from Chikmagalur. Shri Bharat Bhushan from Bengaluru. I spoke to both the wives of the deceased, Pallavi and Sujata, this morning. They are at present safe, but they are worried about the future. I spoke to the KPCC, and the Cabinet has deputed Labour Minister Santosh Lad. He said that he met two members of the family and their children. He also met nearly 200 tourists from Karnataka there in various hotels and arranged flights to return to Bangalore. I have also requested J&K CM Umar Abdullah to make arrangements for those who are not in touch with their respective states. Yesterday night, I spoke to our Home Minister; he promised me that he will take care of all those people. I offer my deepest condolences to the families of the deceased and their loved ones in the tragic incident. The summer season has started, and tourists have started visiting the region. Tourism is also the biggest source of income for Jammu and Kashmir. They are dependent on that income. But due to this attack, Shri Omar Abdullah has told me that this year the economy has collapsed. The Government of India is ruling there, as it's a Union Territory, still not declared as a state. So the response would be from the Government of India. In this moment, we are all one with the government. Together we have to fight. TROOPS OF OPERATION HADIN KAI RESCUE ABDUCTED NECO CANDIDATES IN LASSA, INTENSIFY SEARCH FOR REMAINING VICTIM Troops of Operation HADIN KAI (OPHK) have rescued 10 National Examinations Council (NECO) candidates and teachers abducted during an ISWAP attack on Lassa Community in Askira Uba Local Government Area of Borno State. The attack occurred at about 9:00 a.m. on Monday, 29 June 2026, while students were writing their examinations at the Technical Secondary School. Following the incident, the Theatre Command immediately deployed troops alongside strike and Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) aircraft from the Air Component of OPHK to support a coordinated search and rescue operation. Guided by aerial surveillance, troops made contact with the terrorists around Daggu, leading to a fierce firefight that resulted in the rescue of the 10 victims, all of whom were unharmed and are receiving appropriate care. Troops outmanoeuvred the fleeing terrorists, inflicted casualties on them and captured seven motorcycles, significantly disrupting their escape. Efforts are ongoing to rescue the remaining victim. Sadly, one OPHK soldier and a member of the Civilian Joint Task Force paid the supreme sacrifice during the operation. Operation HADIN KAI, in collaboration with other security agencies and stakeholders, has intensified operations against the terrorists while reinforcing security around vulnerable communities and schools to prevent similar attacks. The military described the incident as another desperate attempt by terrorist groups under sustained pressure to target soft targets but reaffirmed its commitment to dismantling terrorist networks and restoring lasting peace across the North-East. We visited the scene of the explosion which occurred at about 7.44 pm yesterday, 16 January 2024 in Bodija, Ibadan. This unfortunate incident resulted in death and injury to residents in the vicinity and also affected properties. We have already deployed first responders and all relevant agencies within Oyo State to carry out comprehensive search and rescue operations. These operations will continue throughout the night. Earth moving equipment, ambulances, emergency lights, and security were deployed to the scene of the incident. The wounded and injured are being treated and moved to public and private hospitals within Ibadan. Medical personnel are on standby at these hospitals to provide all needed assistance to the injured. We have visited UCH to see some of those injured during the incident. In total, we have 77 injured victims so far, most of whom were treated and discharged and 2 fatalities. May their souls rest in peace and may God give their loved ones the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss. I have directed that the medical bills of all victims be covered by the government. We will also be providing temporary accommodation for those whose houses were affected and ensuring that they are supported to rebuild their lives. Preliminary investigations by the security agencies revealed that illegal miners occupying one of the houses in Bodija had stored explosive devices there which caused the blast. The investigations are ongoing. All those found culpable for this will be brought to book. I urge all residents to please call 615 for any emergencies they may be experiencing at this time and to remain calm and stay away from the immediate scene of the incident to allow rescue operations to be carried out without interference. We are grateful to the first responders, security personnel and all those who are at the scene to assist with the rescue operations as well as the medical personnel taking care of the injured. 100-Level Student of FUTA found dead as police investigate Olaniyi, a student of the Department of Surveying and Geo-informatics, was found dead on Saturday along the North Gate area of the university. An empty bottle of a suspected toxic herbicide was reportedly recovered at the scene, raising concerns that the incident may be linked to su!c!de. First responders have put out the fires in Kyiv – at the Lavra and the Mystetskyi Arsenal. I am grateful to all the services working at the sites of the strikes, and to everyone who is helping. It has been confirmed that two Russian drones deliberately targeted the part of the city where the Lavra and the Mystetskyi Arsenal are located. As of now, 35 people are reported injured in Kyiv. Across the country, 53 people have been wounded, and 11 people are known to have been killed in this massive Russian attack. My condolences to all their families and loved ones. We are in constant communication with our partners regarding the consequences of this Russian attack and the necessary response. It is important that state leaders, public leaders, and international organizations do not remain silent.
