On 3 July, the funeral ceremony for the late Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei began in Iran, set to last for six days. The scale of the funeral was evident from the very first day, when 32 delegations from various countries, as well as delegations representing regional and allied groups, arrived on Iranian soil. Countries from different regions, religions and cultures came together to pay their respects to a historic figure such as the Supreme Leader, but also to reinforce the idea that Iran was not alone on the international stage; rather, it had a greater presence than previously thought, having consolidated its victory over the US in the regional conflict, the definitive outcome of which remains in doubt for the time being. 🇮🇷

On 3 July, the funeral ceremony for the late Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei began in Iran, set to last for six days. Officials said around 18,000 cases involved non-critical conditions, and no deaths or other major incidents were reported. But they're also not rushing it to signal they are in control. It seems the regime is in control. No major protest. None of the actors outside have a ground game inside. The opposition is very weak.

1. The term "Regime Change" is wrong. My mistake. The right term is to topple the Islamic Regime. 2. The Iranian people will be the one rebuilding a new regime. 3. Historically, the US mistakes (Iraq, Afghanistan) were trying to build a regime for other nations - using boots on the ground. There is no need to do so in Iran. The current regime is jeopardizing way more than just Israel. If you think Iran missiles cannot, in time, reach the US, you are wrong. This regime shouted death to America in 1979. Only in 1982 they realize that to get to America they should destroy Israel first.
