I dont think it is. As a male student myself have gone through many punishments for haircut But guess what, looking back, im grateful they corrected my arrogance and brought in a respectful person in me for the society

💯, this is not schools choice. This kid and parents decision. These nonsensical things add stress to kids to for no valid reason.

In what perception it’s a child abuse ? For me feel not. Schools have own rules and regulations. Students should go though this kind of small small struggles. So that they can handle their future better

I don't think so. I have gone, through this punishment multiple times, during my school days. In a way, you get a free haircut.

Comments in this thread show the hole we ourselves dug under the feet of the nation's kids. CONSENT is a legal term. Public humiliation is an offense. So is corporal punishment..
