Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told the Knesset that Israel dropped 153 tonnes of bombs on Gaza on Sunday, in response to what the Israeli army said was a ceasefire breach by Hamas. Since the ceasefire agreement came into effect on 11 October, Israeli forces have committed more than 80 violations of its terms. In the 11 days since the truce began, local Palestinian media have reported Israeli artillery fire, air strikes, and the arrest and detention of civilians.
