Now, Israel’s former Prime Minister, Ehud Olmert, claims that Hamas’ underground stronghold is actually in Khan Younis, the south of Gaza. The south of Gaza is where Israel told everyone in Gaza to evacuate. Yet now they claim that’s where Hamas’ stronghold is actually located. “We haven’t yet even come to the heart of this operation. Khan Younis, which is in the southern part of Gaza strip, is the real headquarters of Hamas.” It’s just one lie after another with Israel… Is it crazy to think that Israel just wants to destroy Gaza? Is it crazy to think that Israel just wants to kill as many Palestinians as possible? Is it!?

Either Gillerman misspoke, and meant to refer to Hamas, or he meant what he said. But... EVEN if he misspoke, he is conflating Palestinians with Hamas, and this is dangerous. Conflating the two makes is excusable to kill the 600,000 civilians, half of them under the age of 18, since you are labelling them all as Hamas. Rhetoric is important. One should condemn Hamas, but not condemn all Palestinian people.

The BBC has reported that the warehouse that was overrun yesterday belonged to the UN’s World Food Programme, contrary to reports by the Israel Foreign Ministry - see below. But we saw yesterday, from Palestinian accounts on X, that Hamas admitted to shooting “5 people” - see below. So why is Hamas shooting people if it’s a WFP warehouse? The BBC then go onto to talk about the gunshots and they say it’s “not clear whether it’s Hamas” or “armed Security Guards working for the owner of the warehouse” Well, if Hamas have admitted to it, it’s most likely them. The BBC are quick to post the “casualty numbers” provided by Hamas, so why not post this message from them? What do you think is happening here?
