Issue 4 of Interfaces just released! This issue is about building an animated sign-in dialog. It covers everything that goes into building it, from the animations to the small but important details. It's one of the most in-depth issues yet, full of code snippets and demos.

Those building AI coding agents will eventually hit the same wall: No matter how smart the model is, the moment you ask it to write production-ready code with the latest libraries, it starts hallucinating. Everyone is building coding agents these days, but most of them run into the same issue: They're coding with outdated documentation. The root cause isn't the model. It's the retrieval layer. If you are building an AI agent that needs information from specific domains such as code, law, academia, and finance Sign up, connect it to your agent, and you'll see the difference immediately.

One of the first three issues that Interfaces launched with is about reviewing and watching back animations. I find it super helpful when an animation feels off and I can’t tell why or when I’m trying to understand what actually happens in an animation.

Aerogel is one the advanced building materials taught about during an architecture masters programme. It is one of the most versatile architectural materials used in many industries. Aerogel insulation can actually withstand 1000 degrees of high temperature, and it is non-combustible.

This individual is basically asking about how the devs at DICE handled lightmaps in Battlefield 4 (baked global illumination) when it came to dynamic events like buildings collapsing, which is an excellent question! In the video I provided here, you can see lightmaps on the building, particularly the balconies. Essentially, when it’s time for the building to collapse, a dynamic animated version of the building is immediately instantiated in the exact location of the old one. You can actually see this happening too. Before the building collapses, you can see a weird flicker effect. That flicker is the lightmaps disappearing entirely, because a different version of the same building that lightmaps won’t function on replaces the static light mapped building. Really cool stuff!

I’ve had a few people tag me in these games saying they’re a copycat But I literally vibe coded my game in a few days. Fable did most of it I didn’t actually make it. I wrote 0% of the code. The issue isn’t how to make something anymore. Or even coming up with an idea The issue is how to monetize

This building belonged to Hamas. The Israeli Air Force destroyed a building complex in Gaza that Hamas had turned into one of its strongholds. Hamas built it. Israel erased it.

There's an engineer on YouTube building his own room-scale laundry-picking UFO catcher robot out of QR codes and string, it's one of the most compelling robotics demos I've seen in a while.

Islamic gatherings do not belong on the streets of Dublin, especially outside a building of historic significance like the GPO. Picture an American tourist approaching the GPO, preparing to take photos and videos of one of the most important locations in Irish history; but this is what they're greeted with.

Flat feet aren't the problem, weak feet are. Most people are told their arches are the issue, but the real fix is building strength and mobility where it matters. These 4 exercises target your big toe, ankle, and the small intrinsic muscles that actually support your arch.

"I can't train fasted. I don't have the energy." You have: - Yesterday's ribeye, still being slowly disassembled in the small intestine - Roughly 2,400 calories of glycogen, sitting in your muscles and liver, waiting to be asked - Somewhere north of 100,000 calories of stored fat, strapped to your body for exactly this scenario There is plenty to go around. The fuel is already in the building. The fuel has been in the building since you were a teenager. The body just needs you to stop eating long enough that it remembers where it put everything.

A 7.8 magnitude earthquake in the Philippines toppled a building in General Santos city, about 8 miles from the epicenter of the quake. There were no immediate reports of casualties, and it was not clear if people were trapped or injured in the collapse of a small building in General Santos city.

🇮🇱 Israeli Finance Minister Smotrich: "Even Netanyahu has an arrest warrant from The Hague, and he is one of the world's greatest leaders. There is enormous international hypocrisy and enormous antisemitism. They're trying to issue arrest warrants against me in The Hague as well because I'm establishing communities, building roads, and, as they put it, destroying the idea of a two-state solution. I'm proud of that." It's amazing he's able to say all that with a straight face! Writer: Michael
